State & National Dyno Shootout Titles
To be eligable for the State & National Shootout titles you MUST register AND pay online. You can enter locally in your state but the points earnt WILL NOT count towards the State title or the National title at the Clipsal 500.
How the competition works
There are four categories that you can enter in:
6 cylinder naturally aspirated
6 cylinder forced induction
8 cylinder naturally aspirated
8 cylinder forced induction
You register & pay online to enter each event throughout the year. The dates the events are scheduled for this year are:
Holden – Round 1 – March 29th
Holden – Round 2 – June 21st
Holden – Round 3 – October 18th
Ford – Round 1 – May 10th
Ford – Round 2 – August 2nd
Ford – Round 3 – November 22nd
Points are awarded for each round based on how well your car performs. After round 3 has been completed, the points for all 3 rounds are tallied and a STATE winner is declared in EACH CATEGORY in each state. Those winners are then invited to compete for the OFFICIAL NATIONAL HOLDEN VS FORD DYNO SHOOTOUT at the Clipsal 500 NATIONAL DYNO SHOOTOUT.

The Ultimate Official National dyno competition for private street cars Hosted by Australia’s Leading Ford and Holden Workshops.
The National Dyno Shootout Final will be the biggest off track recreational motor sporting event at the Clipsal 500 and is available for all private Ford and Holden owners to compete in and become the Clipsal 500 Australian Shootout 09 National Grand Champions.
You can be part of the biggest motor sport 4 day event in the country where in 2008 more than 290,000 people attended the event.
KPM Motorsport, in conjunction with all state host workshops and sponsors are proud to be hosting and organising this anual event at the Clipsal 500 held in the City of Adelaide.
